HEREFORDSHIRE BIG APPLE WEEKEND - Sunday Oct 12th

We will be dancing and playing music around Much Marcle village starting at 11.45am at Awnells Farm , approx 1.45pm at The Bartons (oposite the village hall) and ending up at Hellens Manor for 3.30pm
We'll be including some audience participation - so if you enjoy a ceilidh dance or always wanted a go at Morris dancing then come along! We'll be around for about an hour at each site.....or until we run out of puff!

DUSKING 2025 - Oct 31st on British Camp approx 3.30/4pm (weather permitting)
Dusking - or dancing down the sun - is quickly becoming a thing in the UK as a new Folk custom started by Lucy Wright. It's long been a tradition to 'dance up the sun' on May Day (Beltane) and to mark the beginning of Summer in the Northern Hemisphere. It seems obvious to start dancing down the Sun at the oposite point of the Wheel of the Year and marking the beginning of Winter. (Samhain/All Hallows Eve)

We will be dusking for a second year on the lower ramparts of British Camp (weather permitting) and possibly retireing to a local pub for hot toddies and chips afterwards. If your out and about at least 30 minutes before sun down on Friday Oct 31st come and watch!
Bring a drum or shaker, a lantern and warm clothes.
